OTHER PLATE CLUB MEMBERSHIP ? |
I,
undersigned, declare that I will respect the statutes and internal regulations of the
Association FRANCOPLAQUE, French Association of License Plate Collectors, filed with the sub-prefecture of Argenteuil (French
Official Journal of June 5, 1999).
In particular, the internal regulations specify that membership of the
association cannot be claimed by any person facilitating the illegal
re-use of plates on a moving vehicle or any transaction relating to a
plate obtained by breaking and entering (traffic, theft, etc.). To
avoid being put in an delicate situation, members are invited to keep
track of the plate numbers passing through their hands during exchanges
or transactions by associating them with the names of the persons
concerned.
The ethics of the association being above all to promote the collection
of plates and / or the publication of summaries on car registrations
(systems, history, ..), the association does not promote commercial
activities between members, or with other people.
The sale or purchase of plates is a normal activity, when collectors
cannot carry out an exchange. For a collector, the sale of plates
should not therefore constitute a significant part of his income, it
should above all allow him to acquire other plates. Similarly, the sale of license plates to non-members is authorized,
within the framework of the regulations in force. This sale must then
be accompanied by information on the existence of the association
Francoplaque and possibly on other sources allowing to obtain it
(examples : the auction
site http://www.ebay.com, ALPCA ads, etc.). In return,
Francoplaque authorizes a member to take advantage of his membership in
the association to facilitate him obtaining license plates in France or
abroad, from individuals or professionals, and this in compliance with
the local regulations in force.
He is also
authorized to speak about the association and to use its logo at the
time of public demonstrations (exhibitions, fairs, ...) or interviews
in various media (radios, television, written press, ...).
This signed Charter can be either
sent as an image to francoplaque@gmail.com or returned to the postal
address of the association : FRANCOPLAQUE: chez Jean-Emmanuel
Chevry, Appt. 10 Résidence Les Treilles, 210 bis, avenue du Colonel
Teyssier 81000 ALBI - France
The membership number will be then provided to the new member, with a link to the updated Francoplaque member roster.
A copy of the signed Charter may be kept by the member, who may, if necessary, produce it to different authorities.
